Lemon/Lemongrass

Fresh lemongrass is finely ground and steeped in hot distilled water 15 minutes and then strained.   The lemongrass tea is combined with my extra virgin olive oil to form the base of my lemon/lemongrass soap.   Just before pouring the soap into the molds, pure lemongrass and lemon essential oils are stirred into the mixture.   The soap is insulated for three days and then removed from the molds. The bars are cut seven days later and left to cure for four weeks to harden.
