Olive Divas soaps are:

• "castile made" meaning they are made with 100% vegetable oil (80% extra virgin olive oil plus palm kernel oil and coconut oil) and no animal fats.
  
  
• free of fragrances, color, dyes, harsh chemicals and preservatives.   Only natural rosemary extract is added to extend the soap life due to the emollient nature and high quantity of extra virgin olive oil.
  
  
• made with 80% of the highest grade, first cold press, estate grown, hand picked, Tuscan olives grown in Paso Robles, California.
  
  
• handmade by the cold process with no external heat to cause the saponification reaction.   Saponification is the traditional process to hydrolyze (as fat) with alkali to form soap.
  
  
• scented with only pure lemon/lemongrass, lavender or rosemary essential oil (in select bars).
  
  
• made in small batches and hand cut to ensure high quality in the final product.

Due to the large amount of extra virgin olive oil in my handcrafted soaps and the lack of fillers found in most commercial soaps it is crucial to keep them well drained after each use to extend their life.
